Because of the location of this youth library, in a corner between the Zuwe and the Wingerd, the choice has been made for a simple, strong shape for the floor plan of the library: the circle.
The entrance is marked by two large wooden bookends and the use of a considerable amount of glass has made the building light and inviting.
The structure is made of wood in a radial layout. Excess sunlight is kept out by a projected roof edge.
