THE BUILDING

The basis of the building is the manufacturing hall that is located at the rear of the plot. In front of this there is a zone – ‘the drop’ – with laboratories and staff facilities that are separated from the manufacturing hall by an internal road. The office space is on the floor that hangs, as it were, in the manufacturing hall and the laboratories.

The building has been designed in such a way – as far as colour and the use of materials are concerned – that the functional differences between the departments can be seen in the facades. The appearance and dynamics have been created with the use of the black, drop-shaped design that curves along with the road and ends in the direction of the grounds at the back, whereby the red office section perforates the drop at the entrance area.
