THE BUILDINGS

The new design will replace the existing building of the Assisted Living and Healthcare Centre De Schauw and the apartments de Roosenhof. The layout of the building is divided into 2 sections, namely, a section with accommodation in the form of wards and central amenities for assisted living, and another section that houses the functional units with rooms for individual and group therapy. The building is made up of 3 staggered volumes that form a vertical or horizontal lineation. The starting points were the realisation of familiar, eligible buildings, within which transparent sightlines form the main theme
