Almere is a developing town, which means it is continually changing. The same applies to education. More and more often the architect will be required to design schools that are flexible enough to change with the times. School houses are a solution, yet there are more differences between houses and schools than there are similarities. School houses bring with them additional expenses and the floor plans are often a compromise between a school and a house. In this project two floors can easily be changed from an office into a school or vice versa, as there are more similarities than there are differences between an office and a school. The building accommodates two primary schools, a gym and offices.
