THE BUILDING

The main mass and the appearance of the school has been kept pointing in the direction of the road and with an extension at the back, which is the same height. The green park-like area at the back of the building has been taken into consideration as much as possible.

The extension is designed as two main masses that have been kept separate from the existing building by means of a transparent linking section.

The middle section of the existing building has been interrupted, in order to create a natural and spacious entrance and passageway for the extension. The corridors are wide and spacious and one walks towards the light from every position.

The curved outer wall of the extension runs like a guiding wall from outside to inside, directly into the heart of the existing school.
