Ulenhofcollege

The extension of the Ulenhof College stems from the desire of the school’s head and board to combine the junior and the senior buildings at one location. Jorissen Simonetti was chosen to design this new building after two rounds with other architects.

The extension is situated on the south side of the building and is almost entirely made up of a glass under structure, on top of which there are two floors that have been executed in black, ‘raw’ diamond with playfully positioned large, framed window casing. A deliberate choice has been made to cause a crash in the appearance in relation to the existing building.
