THE BUILDING

The design of the RGC is in keeping with that of the existing hospital. This means that the sets of windows on the outer walls have been constructed as consecutive strips like those at the hospital. The windows on both inside areas of the main building have been designed more like holes in order to enhance the feeling of privacy amongst the people staying in the inner area and the details and materials used are friendlier. The fourth floor has been carried out more transparently so as to act as a light ending in the vertical surface. Both elevated bridges and the corridor in the therapy building are made wholly of glass.
