PROGRAMME OF REQUIREMENTS

Bruggerbosch has room for 203 demented residents and 48 outpatients.

The 34 small-scale group houses, each of which is designed for 6 residents with their own bedroom, a communal living room and bathroom constitute a ‘normalised’ living environment.

The supportive spaces are more communal and include:

- rooms for activities such as a church hall, cinema, hobby room, library, meditation centre

- commercial rooms such as a compact kitchen, restaurant/grand café, shop, staff restaurant, room for billiards

- paramedical services, occupational therapy and physiotherapy, exercise room, sensory room and therapy bath

- office space for the management, staff, secretariat, EAD, P&O, social work, etc.
