THE BUILDING

This centrally situated building not only houses a grand café and restaurant, but also the supportive utilities. These spaces form a lively heart and open landings and upper floor access points connect them directly to all the floors. The residents live in groups and each resident has his/her own room.

The buildings are connected by a covered road that flows as it were between the buildings. The road functions as a transitional area between inside and outside. The easily recognisable front doors of the various houses can be reached from this road. The residents have maximum freedom of movement within the building.

In addition to the nursing home, four smaller apartment buildings will be realised on the grounds of Bruggerbosch. The apartments are intended for people needing an increasing amount of care.
