These spaces are visually connected by the main entrance that provides an opening covering the two floors. The position of the ends of the volume, facing the surrounding villas, makes the difference in scale acceptable. These ends are at the same time the lowest sections of the building, from which the building gradually becomes higher, leading towards the treetops on the other side of the grounds. The Ooster church, a listed building designed by architect B. W. Plooy, will have a wall built behind it.
