MATERIALISATION

The abstractness of the volume and the way the facade has been treated ensure that the church remains the most dominant building as seen from Woudenbergse road. The materialisation and development of the new building reflect the Amsterdam School, which is also the architectural style of the church. The top section is covered with roof tiles. The rest of the building is made of brick, with a wood strip on the site of the nursing ward. The living rooms of the nursing groups will be provided with wood bay windows. The balconies of the nursing homes will be built of brick and glass.
